Privacy Policy

HiFiSync is operated by Piotr Dziubecki, based in Switzerland. The data controller is reachable at piotr@hifisync.com. This policy is written under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and is aligned with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for visitors based in the EU.

Authenticated accounts. When you save a build on HiFiSync, Supabase Auth stores: your email address, a derived @handle, and an optional display name. The build itself (component picks, room layout, score) is stored against your user ID.

Magic-link sign-in. To complete a save, we email you a one-time magic link via Resend. The pending save (your email + the draft build) is stored briefly until the link is clicked, then either promoted to a real account or expired and deleted.

Account data is collected on the basis of your consent: you submit the save form, you click the magic link, you keep the account. We do not use your data for marketing, advertising, or any third-party communication.

Authenticated account data is retained while the account exists. Pending saves expire automatically when the magic link expires (1 hour). HiFiSync ran a pre-launch email waitlist from 6 May 2026 until 19 May 2026; the table and all signup records were deleted on 19 May 2026 when the alpha opened on the prod marketing landing.

We do not share, sell, or rent your data. Two service providers process data on our behalf:

• Resend (transactional email). EU/US-located; GDPR DPA in place via their standard terms.
• Supabase (database + authentication). EU-region project; GDPR DPA in place via their standard terms.

We do not run analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking on this site.

You can request access to, correction of, deletion of, portability of, or objection to processing of your data by emailing piotr@hifisync.com. We respond within 30 days.

The marketing landing sets no marketing or analytics cookies. Authenticated routes (/account/*) use Supabase Auth session cookies — these are essential for sign-in and are not used for tracking.

If we make material changes, we’ll email account holders and update the “last updated” date above.
